Leadership
Alan J. Paskoff, President

The Paskoff family's dedication to Temple life is baked into Temple Am Echad's rich history. At Temple's legacy congregation Temple Emanu-El, Alan's parents, Bryna and Sam Paskoff, modeled engagement and leadership in Temple life. Bryna edited the Temple Bulletin and volunteered in countless synagogue initiatives. She currently heads College Contact, Temple's outreach program to our members attending college, and promotes ad sales for
the current Temple Bulletin. Sam served as president of the Temple and the Men's Club and taught with distinction in the religious school. Alan, too, has been a noteworthy educator for many years in the religious school, as well as serving as co-chair of the Religious School Committee with Kim Krokoff. Alan's wife, Andrea, founded and is head
of Temple's Tot program. Her contributions and leadership have enhanced and invigorated Temple's Tot Shabbat
and Tot Shabbat Baby Time.
We thank Alan for stepping up as Temple President a second time and apologize in advance to Andrea and Alan's daughter, Shoshana.
Jared Berry, Finance Vice President

Leland Jacob, Membership Co-Vice President
Lee Jacob and his brother Andy grew up in the religious school of legacy congregation Temple Emanu-El, where they were both Bar Mitzvah and confirmed. Lee’s parents were lifetime members of the Temple. After Lee’s retirement in 2013 from government service with Customs and Border protection as a Senior import and export commodity specialist, he became active in Temple Am Echad serving on the board of trustees for 8 years and participating on various committees such as Adult Education , Caring Community, Social Action and Choir and hopes, going forward, to encourage the participation of more Temple members of all ages to engage in activities and committees that our Temple Am Echad has to offer. Lee is a firm believer in thinking outside the box.

Bryan and his family, his wife Margot and twins Jae and Mason, are relatively new members to the Temple Am Echad family. Although new to leadership at Temple Am Echad, Bryan has served in many leadership roles in his life and
was excited and honored to be nominated for this new role. Bryan has been an active member of the Religious
School and Temple Am Echad Kids and looks forward to now working with the entire congregation to continue growing and improving our already tremendous Temple Am Echad community! If you haven’t met Bryan yet, you
can generally find him as, “The guy wearing the New York Islanders hat.” Bryan is looking forward to an incredible year!
