Leadership

Alan Paskoff returns for his second term as President of Temple Am Echad, continuing his family's legacy deeply woven into our congregation’s history.
At our legacy congregation, Temple Emanu-El, Alan’s parents—Bryna and Sam Paskoff—modeled lifelong engagement. Bryna edited the Temple Bulletin, led countless initiatives, and now heads College Contact, our outreach to college students, while also managing Bulletin ad sales. Sam served as Temple and Men’s Club President and taught in the religious school with distinction.
Alan has followed in their footsteps, serving for years as a beloved religious school educator and co-chairing the Religious School Committee with Kim Krokoff. His wife, Andrea, leads our Temple Tot program, bringing energy and heart to Tot Shabbat and Tot Shabbat Baby Time.
We’re grateful to Alan for stepping up once again—and extend our thanks (and apologies) to Andrea and Shoshana for sharing him with us.
Jared is a lifelong member of Temple Am Echad, having grown up through our Early Childhood Center, celebrated his Bar Mitzvah, and graduated as a confirmand from Hebrew High School. As a teen, he held leadership roles in the youth group and served as a dedicated madrich (teaching assistant).
After traveling to Israel on Birthright in 2013, Jared joined the Temple staff—first as a Hebrew teacher, then as Director of Youth Programs, and later as Director of Education (2016–2019). Since joining the Board of Directors, he has co-chaired the High Holy Day Committee and led the Technology Committee, overseeing the launch of our live-streaming system.
After retiring in 2013 from a distinguished career with U.S. Customs and Border Protection as a Senior Import and Export Commodity Specialist, Lee became an active leader at Temple Am Echad. He served on the Board of Trustees for eight years and contributed to key committees, including Adult Education, Caring Community, Social Action, and Choir.
A creative thinker and passionate advocate for engagement, Lee hopes to inspire Temple members of all ages to get involved in the vibrant programs and committees that make Temple Am Echad thrive.
Bryan, along with his wife Margot and twins Jae and Mason, is a relatively new member of the Temple Am Echad family. Though new to leadership here, Bryan brings a wealth of experience from past roles and was honored to be nominated for this position.
He’s been an active presence in the Religious School and Temple Am Echad Kids, and now looks forward to working with the full congregation to help our vibrant community continue to grow and thrive.
If you haven’t met Bryan yet, just look for “the guy in the New York Islanders hat.” He’s excited for an incredible year ahead!
